The CEO, Ben Akak Foundation, Engr. Ben Akak has officially commissioned a borehole project in Ugep, Yakuur LGA. According to him, “the demand for drinkable water is a necessity to humankind, hence, the need for the foundation to embark on this project.” He stated further that, his visit to Ugep is divine and timely.
Engr. Ben Akak also reiterated his unending love for the people of Ugep and Yakuur in general, assuring them of more tangible and long lasting projects. According to him, “in the history of Ugep, the presence of the government has not been adequately felt but from 2023, God willing, the Ugep people and Yakuur in general,will feel the impact of government with full assurance.”
Akak equally appreciated the Obol Lopon of Ugep, whose arms is always wide opened to receive him anytime.
While thanking Engr. Ben Akak and his entourage, the Obol Lopon prayed for God’s continued blessings upon Engr. Ben Akak for finding Ugep community worthy of successfully embarking on the project. He assured Engr. Ben Akak of his unalloyed support and the people of Ugep in his political ambition come 2023 and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Highpoints of the occasion was the unveiling of the water project, cultural displays by the good people of Ugep, prayers by Obol Lopon to Engr. Ben Akak, members of the Cross River State House of Assembly, individuals, cash donations by Engr. Ben Akak, among others.
